About John & Tarrah

John spent the bulk of his career working at Conan and doing improv at UCB. He is a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ characters and storylines that reflect his experience in all of his work, including plays and TV pilots. When he’s not binge-watching classic sitcoms and 90s dramas he missed out on, he’s taking his terrier mutt Emmy for a walk or battling it out on the field on his gay kickball team.

Tarrah has built a career in television publicity and event production, working on many of the entertainment industry’s top live events, including the Emmys, Grammys, and Oscars. When not bending spreadsheets to her will, she can be found kickboxing, hosting cookie parties, and searching for inspiration in shuffled playlists.

The Boston University alums met while working at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where they discovered a mutual love of all things YA–books, films, and especially television. They write to tell the stories of the lovable, sexy oddballs that reflect their real experiences and give voices to the queer characters and swoon-worthy weirdos that live in their heads. They are currently working on a split-timeline Halloween mystery and a summer-set new adult best friends drama.
